I have become a recent fan of boltandnut.com.au. Their prices are reasonable and they have fast and professional turnaround, I am impressed they went to the effort of having little custom branded boxes:

Thanks for that!
James, what happened to using Lee Bros at nth parramatta?
You could just about walk there from your place.
I was at Lee brothers maybe 20 or 30 years ago when they were on the Church St site where Trivett BMW & Mini are now, opposite what used to be sundell holden. They'd been there so long one old lady working there could remember people who came down from queesnland in horse and cart days to get their nuts and bolts for farm equipment.
I was such a cold and dark building with a greasy black counter that looked like it had been there for 100 years or maybe more. The lady wore woollen mittens with the fingertip bits cut off. And rows upon rows of grubby boxes full of the weirdest parts and all kinds of imperial fittings. There would be nowhere in Australia you could find the level of service and knowledge those old folk had.

I do go there sometimes, but when I know what I want getting it posted to my office frees up a lot of my time. It's still a 20-minute drive to Lee Bros and the only time I can go is Saturday morning.

Happy to recommend Nordicar in The Netherlands.

Had a package damaged along with one of the contents.

One of the pieces in an exclusive kit not up to expectation. No problem, they agreed and replaced without a quibble.

An apology and another part sent out within 24 hours.

Apart from that, the order was picked and packed promptly. Good folk, thanks especially to Peter Flapper.

Scandcar too have provided really good service and parts at prices significantly cheaper than locally.

Shipping times for both these companies are speedy. Oversize parts are reasonably priced to ship compared to trans Australian shipping.

Just saw this on FB: Summit Racing use code ALWAYS to save 10%. Last time I checked their prices on Bilsteins were quite good including shipping.

Was chatting with a mate yesterday - he said he had been using RockAuto for orders for their non-Volvos for about a year, but last order they tried to make (early Nov?) they said they aren’t shipping to Australia any longer due to the stupid GST collection system which their system isn’t set up to handle. Anyone had a successful RockAuto order recently?

That's a bummer. You could always use a reshipping service. It seems there are quite a few companies that have stopped shipping to Aust because of perceived GST obligations. I don't understand why they don't just tell the ATO to go jump. I don't believe that they are under any legal obligation to comply in their jurisdiction. They don't conduct business in Australia, so there is no risk to their business for noncompliance.

One of the benefits of RockAuto was they had really cheap shipping...so if you had to use a re-shipping agent I think it would be cheaper to just go straight to somebody like FCP Euro or Skandix. :(

A plus one for Partsforvolvosonline, and Fcp Euro.

Where would I be most likely to din the cylinder head for Volvo c70 with a B5234T9 engine?

Another +1 for Berry's and Mark Iceton. Helped me out with a new door cable for the XC90 after the front passenger door lock started playing up!

    @iceton1975

Plus one for a Brisbane company called Powerwin, they repair and rebuild electric window regulator's.

I've had both front one's of my 2003 C70 done, and they have quick turnaround.

I have used Lee Bros many times, always have what I need and great prices.

This may not be the place but here goes, saw Ford V Ferrari at movies last night, great movie for any car buff. Great idea to read up on the real story before hand.

RockAuto now shipping to AUS again. Sadly the taxman has gotten to them so they’ll be collecting GST. 5% discount code until March as consolation.

Thumbs up for Skandix in Germany, dropped in and was well looked after. Well worth the visit when we're allowed out of the country again.

Can recommend silverproject.eu, they were quick to respond to my questions and shipping from Poland only took one week.

Quality of the parts seems good, haven't installed them on the car yet though.

They do a few bits for the P1 platform, plus a little bit for P2 and P3. Pricing was not too bad even with postage and exchange rate.

    SKANDIX NO LONGER SHIPPING !!!

Looks like maybe the Swedes are still shipping (cvi.se and gcp.se) if you’re desperate for something you can’t get from Skandix. The ‘muricans are still shipping as well.
