Thumbs up for Skandix in Germany, dropped in and was well looked after. Well worth the visit when we're allowed out of the country again.

Can recommend silverproject.eu, they were quick to respond to my questions and shipping from Poland only took one week.

Quality of the parts seems good, haven't installed them on the car yet though.

They do a few bits for the P1 platform, plus a little bit for P2 and P3. Pricing was not too bad even with postage and exchange rate.

Looks like maybe the Swedes are still shipping (cvi.se and gcp.se) if you’re desperate for something you can’t get from Skandix. The ‘muricans are still shipping as well.

Agreed! I always look elsewhere (Google+ part name and Volvo and model, or Skandix, CVI, ipd, FCP...) to get the part number, then when I find the number I type it in the search on GCP website to see if they have it...otherwise yes, it's a pain.

If you enter the part number and nothing is found, that means GCP doesn't have it. GCP only typically stocks the parts that are no longer normal dealer/warehouse-stocked Volvo parts for the currently serviced cars. They are contracted by Volvo to take over production or procurement of the older, slower-moving parts only once it's no longer viable for Volvo. Technically anything GCP stocks should be available through a Volvo dealer if you give them a part number, but I haven't tried that in AUS. I know it works in the US. Typically cheaper to go straight to GCP though I've found.

Just a heads up on the IPD USA Volvo 240 front window washers with dual squirter.

They are a terrible design, they just spray onto the bonnet and when you try and adjust them, they fall apart. Another buyer also had the same issues as me, you can read his product review in the link above.

For anyone wondering.... The O-rings for P2 cars that seal the transmission lines to the radiator are 10.82mm x 1.78mm

Easily found at any aircon or hydraulics shop for dirt cheap (20 pack for $8 for me today)

Looks like this thread hasn't been updated for a loooong time. In 2022 there must be some new info and recommendations/buying experiences to add here? I'm looking for details on where to get parts in Sydney if possible, otherwise any updates regarding the usual suppliers would be helpful. I'll also start adding in my experiences once I start buying a few parts ?

Around Sydney your best bets are Oz Volvo users (there's literally dozens of us!) but you also have Lupica motors who have a good collection of parts, as well as Savvas and there are some other businesses too whose names escape me right now, hopefully someone else can chime in.

Yes the list could use an update, I might have to start a new one as OP isn't active on the forums any more I don't think.
