Stubanger I'm a bit of an infrequent flyer/attendee too.

I did 2015 and 2018, so am overdue for a visit.

I brought this in 2015 -

Damn I would like to join in, but I'm already locked in for Volvo Victoria Club event in Echuca this year.

Canberra ACT was definitely my wish-list way back in 2022 after Sawtell.

I hope 24 Oz Volvo Nat will be the blast, and if there's 2025 on November. I'll be there… ☺️

I'm debating doing both but being a week apart I may not get to Echuca, though we (DVS Performance Parts) are a sponsor for the Volvo Car Clubs of Australia National Rally this year.
Accomodation with friends in Canberra is a little hard to pass up as well - it serves as a good excuse to catch up with them.

AshDVS I could do both but I have to use wisely my annual leave and accumulate for my next 2025 Tassie Travel and 2026 Philippines Travel.

Not sure what to bring this year.

    In past years?

    Gerringong, 2015 - The Noodle (745 16V)

Sawtell, 2016 - The Cleever (945 SE turbo)

    Albury, 2017 - Alice the S80 V8 & Larry the 144

    Canberra, 2018 - The 780 Bertone

Skipped Bathurst 2019 because of the national rally and budget, then there was Covid.... and here we are in 2024.

I'd like to bring the completed Clyde (74 142 B230 16V+t, but there is still so much to be done.

So, it may be Reddington this year. Who knows? (I don't, yet...) Image description

I have entered my 360GLT every year I have attended… not once has it actually made it… 🤣

Hoping that this is the year it actually makes it to the nationals!

I’ll be bringing the banana boat, which will hopefully be sporting lots of built engine turbo goodness by then

I've been out of the 'Volvo' loop for some time but have always remained an owner. My current is an XC60 R Design which I'm pretty stoked with. Is this type of vehicle allowed to enter for the 'show and shine' segment? Cheers

beema41 welcome back to the fold!
There's a Show 'n' Shine category to fit every Volvo, so no worries there.

@beema41 very much welcome. If Volvo made it, it belongs in the show!

There's a trophy category for XC models: The XC Award for eXCellence, which I added a few years ago specifically to get those modelsa bit more recognition 🙂

jamesinc it’s definitely Volvo made as it’s got the Swedish built plate. 😉

I’ve completed the registration and booked a cabin at Alivio’s.

I’m going to the Volvo Club national rally at Echuca and I’ll be coming to Canberra on the way back from Victoria. It’ll be a good 10 day road trip. I can’t wait!
