AshDVS I could do both but I have to use wisely my annual leave and accumulate for my next 2025 Tassie Travel and 2026 Philippines Travel.
Oz Volvo 'Nats 2024 - November 1-3 - Canberra
Oz Volvo sponsored a trophy at this year's clubs rally!
Not sure what to bring this year.
In past years?
Gerringong, 2015 - The Noodle (745 16V)
(vale)
Sawtell, 2016 - The Cleever (945 SE turbo)
Albury, 2017 - Alice the S80 V8 & Larry the 144
Canberra, 2018 - The 780 Bertone
Skipped Bathurst 2019 because of the national rally and budget, then there was Covid.... and here we are in 2024.
I'd like to bring the completed Clyde (74 142 B230 16V+t, but there is still so much to be done.
So, it may be Reddington this year. Who knows? (I don't, yet...)
Major Ledfoot I vote Reddington for fifty years of the 240
I have entered my 360GLT every year I have attended… not once has it actually made it…
Hoping that this is the year it actually makes it to the nationals!
If the 940 isn't in 6 million pieces by Nov can I'll bring the daily
nugget_940 Definitely bring that!
I’ll be bringing the banana boat, which will hopefully be sporting lots of built engine turbo goodness by then
I've been out of the 'Volvo' loop for some time but have always remained an owner. My current is an XC60 R Design which I'm pretty stoked with. Is this type of vehicle allowed to enter for the 'show and shine' segment? Cheers
beema41 welcome back to the fold!
There's a Show 'n' Shine category to fit every Volvo, so no worries there.

I’ve completed the registration and booked a cabin at Alivio’s.
I’m going to the Volvo Club national rally at Echuca and I’ll be coming to Canberra on the way back from Victoria. It’ll be a good 10 day road trip. I can’t wait!
beema41 I should've mentioned that both my boys have or are in the process of getting their licences and you wouldn't believe it they're into Volvo's too. The older boy wants a 240 and the younger wants a later model S40 or similar. Now I'm regretting getting rid of my 3 x 240's I had laying around as unfinished projects.
beema41 One of your former 240s (the red one, now known as Reddington) might yet make an appearance at this year's Oz Volvo, if I get it ready in time. That car's body has zero rust and was simply too good to scrap.
It even started up after sitting for years, right after the dead fuel pumps were changed!
Just registered. Will hopefully be doing Echuca and then heading home via Canberra for Ozvolvo. Will be bringing the 245. Id best get out into the garage and sort it out.
