I see that some specs were posted for an 850, but has anyone come across 850R settings? Or are the ones posted here correct for an R as well?

I need a wheel alignment and new from tyres on my 850R wagon and am not confident that a tyre place is going to know the correct specs for the car. I have noticed the tyres squealing under relatively easy cornering and I have not had an alignment done in the few years I have owned the car.

Alternatively if anyone can recommend somewhere in Newcastle that has done an alignment for them I'd be keen to know.
Most don't and use the 850 one that comes up on the computer. Look for a motor sport tyre seller. Or suspension place.
Beware, the rear is adjustable, most say it isn't. But it will be seized up. If you can get under and spray with penetrine a whebefore you go it will help and make them do it.
I am thinking about Bowers suspension, which is near where I live. But even then I'm not sure they'd know what to set it to, so thought it'd be good if I could supply them with the figures.

Does the rear go out of alignment enough to make it worth them doing? Sort of cautious about getting them to play around with the rear in case they don't really know what to do with it and it ends up worse off.

    Remembered that my car came with this booklet in the glove box. It lists only a single set of alignment figures. It doesn't specify what variant it applies to, so maybe there is no difference, since the book seems to cover models fitted with all engine varieties etc.







    Got my wheels aligned today at a suspension place. They said that the machine they use for alignments was from Germany and had euro vehicle specs, and had entries for both the 850 and 850R. They said the specs for the two were the same. Below is my alignment sheet, which may be useful for the databank figures and tolerances. Yet to drive mine much but felt fine on drive home.

    Iv'e been looking into these for a few weeks now as it's been bugging me looking at the car it looks like the wheels are 'poking out ' at the top . The alignment is spot on , but still yet to put new Eibach springs on the front . Hopefully when the new springs are in it'll give me some camber but i'm not holding my breath . Its a weekend car and not a daily so not overly concerned about tyre wear so , hopefully these bolts would give me the desired affect.....

      I'd do your front springs first and then look at it. You'll gain some negative camber as ride height drops.

      KMac do adjustable strut tops for camber and caster.

      I ask as I'm getting very slight tyre rub on the arch over bumps . Pretty minimal but when I convert the rear brake set up it uses a 3mm spacer so that'll make the wheels/tyres poke out 3mm more , hence wouldn't mind adjusting mine ..
