In other news the 242dl is up and registered and going great.
Im really keen for this trip. Just need to work out how much it'll cost me and if I bring a mate with me!
Only 1009 km from Hobart to Parkes so should be a great trip for the beastie. Any idea on how many people are coming?

I don't think I'm going to make it anymore guys, due to a severe lack of planning on my part, plus the 360 won't be quite upto the trip just yet and I don't wanna turn up in a non volvo.

Hrm... at the rate the BMW is being fixed I may just show up in it cause I'm going to want to drive it some....
@jamesinc I was also looking forward to meeting like minded volvo creatures, it may still be on the cards but if I do end up making it, it will be very last minute and completely unorganised. I thought it better to just say I won't make it than say I will be there and not show up.

Got some appointments in the 12th that I could maybe delay but shouldn't really, and funding would be tight and I have a bunch of work to do getting ready to sell my house...so although I could do it, the responsible thing is to make it next year when the 142 should be ready, and do ire as a road trip with the family.

How many confirmed have we got?
There's I think 13 or 14 who have actually paid, then maybe 5 who have RSVP'd where I'm waiting on payment, then another 3 or 4 who are tentative pending some other thing (e.g. car being in working order, work rosters, etc).
