Berry will have a set of injectors. Otherwise onto ebay overseas or turbobricks for sale thread.
SPT940's 960 wagon
Maybe a rebuild kit is all that i need? I just hope I got all of the broken pintel out of the injector port????? At worst I'll call Berry, otherwise a kit will do the trick.
VIDA works on everything with an electronic throttle, i.e blue badge on the grilleegads;14051 wrote@jonbot Can vida/dice talk to these?
960 is too old
Now I've re read it new o rings will fix the top half. A kit will help the whole lot.
I thought this was pretty stupid of me, however I feel better now knowing that this has happened to hundreds of other idiots!!!! Aparently this happens often. the metal pintels do fracture.?!?!?
They are very fine. I've not seen them fracture though. Hm

Seems to be some odd things on that list as my 740 16 valve shows up as a V6.
Yep, it looks like it's listed as a Peugeot Renault Volvo. Are the the same injectors for B230????
Nope. V6 ones are smaller I think.

Should I buy genuine bushes for the 940 or are the Meyle bushes good enough? I'm about to order some IPD bits.
PRV = Peugeot Renault Volvo if you didn't know.
Best news ever! The pintal caps are actually nylon/plastic, not metal. I thought they were a non ferrous metal (not magnetic). I got my injector rebuild kit, pulled all the injectors, and started dismantling. Hooray! The offending piece, if still in the port or on the piston, should just melt away!?!?! Also bought the wifi inspection camera. It's fntastic, for future use now though!
Will have battered up 960 ready for Sunday, as well as 940. No V50T5 AWD as its of to it's weekly run to the airport as Qantas wife is going to L.A. New York L.A. this week.
Will get a few bushes and things from IPD sent to Hotel if I'm quick.
Should I go genuine or not?

I thought that was the case! There shouldn't be anything in the injector itself, though I'd look at getting them cleaned by a professional injector cleaner, should be only $100.
maybe1 The kit contains all new 'o' rings, pintel caps & filters.. I believe they were done about 10K ago according to the service records. I'll run them as is for a while, and have them cleaned later. I'll service them tonight, install tomorrow morn, and get done as many of the little things I can do before Sunday.

Hi Do have a 960 95 motor in stock and tranny also 92 model motor if intrested
a month later
No dramas with motor, just the cat, sensors, and maybe the muffler.
Got a new bonnet from Sydney and will fit it next weekend.
I have a S/S BMW E30 header coming shortly. Don't know what modification it may need but whatever it is it'll be fine. They are for LHD cars so steering may be an obstruction. Deal with that when the time comes. Not suer what system I will run yet. I do know it could potentially have a serious exhaust note!, but it needs to be streetable.
Going to run a complete set of new bushes through it next as the ride is very bump thumpy. Front is spongy and soft compared to the nivomat rear end, which feels quite stiff.
I'm just not sure how far to take the suspension yet.

About to refit lights and grill etc. This new Taiwanese bonnet has got to go! It is fefinately going to get the gloss carbon fibre vinyl treatment and a black grill, as it is not good enough for paint.
I am still after a secondhand cat and sensors to get it going again, until my S/S headers arrive. I think they will take a bit of massaging to fil well. The system will need a nice S/S collector to single inlet/outlet cat and straight through mufflers, to unleash the horses!
On with rebuilding the headlights before installation. Swap over lense to new bucket and give a thorough clean.
