jamesinc shew Gateway Village, it's all in the Nats portal here https://ozvolvo.org/nationals/itinerary
jamesinc This year we're taking a break from the BBQ and doing a catered option with beef/pork rolls, gravy and salads from a local carvery. What this means is that for once I am not lugging a trailer with me, so I'm going to come down in the yellow car and finally get a chance to show off the B21AT build!
VPT02 Two weeks to go and we will be in the middle things. Getting ready for the presentation dinner 😊 I will be present with some Volvo merchandise / parts on the display day…. Hope to catch up with all on the day. Should be good weekend! 👍
carnut222 Looks like we'll have some warmish weather in Wodonga - slight chance of rain. @jamesinc I assume when we registered we advised you head count (2) for the Friday and Saturday dinners…hopefully that's all we need to do. My Facebook account is still disabled so I'm probably not showing up on the event listings as "going" any more.
jamesinc I'll be honest I virtually never look at Facebook. I install the Facebook app for the show and uninstall it after. You (and everyone else) will get an email shortly with a link where you can check your car's details and your headcount. Car details you can update by self-service, if you need to add headcount you'll have to message me so I can get the $10/head extra.
GreenGL Is the Show and Shine a "lock in" event? If it is, what time does the lock-in period end? I would like to hang around for the full duration of the Show and Shine, but I'm expected back in Melbourne Sat Evening.
jamesinc My ask would be to try and stay until at least 1.30pm, but if you did need to go sooner it's not a lock-in event.
GreenGL jamesinc Thanks. I should be able to hang around past 2pm. May be worth mentioning somewhere in the event info that its non lock in, but the preference is for cars to remain until 1:30pm minimum. Unless everyone else knows the drill already, and I'm the only first time attendee.
Major Ledfoot Folks - If there's any very last-minute change of plans to the event or planned itinerary, can somebody please update this thread here, instead of Farcebook, etc or relying on word of mouth?
jamesinc The itinerary at https://ozvolvo.org/nationals/itinerary will get updated approx in realtime
Ghettobird Is anyone coming down QLD able to bring some parts down from Springfield Lakes? Ive got some car parts that Im hoping someone might be able to bring down, Let me pay you fuel money instead of paying a courier! Wagon or XC likely required
jamesinc Top score! 67 Volvos on the field today, beating Canberra 2024's record by 1! I will post up the winners and runners up tomorrow.
