There are a number of car parks surrounding Lonsdale Street, and Braddon is a short drive or Uber/taxi from Alivio Tourist Park

Show 'n' Shine + BBQ

Enter via Pescott Lane from 10am, with the show starting at 11am.

WARNING: Do not arrive before 10am! There is another event in the park using the same gate, we have agreed not to interfere or block their access. If you arrive early, park in the public car park near the gate and grab a coffee.

Getting in

There will be two control points: the first will be the park entrance on Pescott Lane. A marshal will check you in, give you wristbands, and direct you where to go.

If you're on the waitlist

Park in the public car park and visit the Oz Volvo tent after 10am for your wristband. We'll decide at 11:30am if we can bring cars in from the waitlist.

Notes

Bring a camping chair. The show'n'shine staging grounds are flanked by trees on two sides, so plenty of shade is available if it gets too warm. There will be sunscreen at the Oz Volvo tent if you need it.

Follow all directions and work with the marshals. They will direct you to your parking spot and help you get your car lined up perfectly with the row.

Show'n'shine voting opens

You will find your voting form under your windscreen wiper. Make sure to bring a pen or pencil! If you forget, the Oz Volvo tent has spares.

Central Social Club is in the heart of Canberra, conveniently close to accommodation and to the rest of Canberra's nightlife.

If you missed the pre-order cutoff on Friday afternoon, don't worry: you can still order on arrival.

Cruise
Red Hill to Mt Ainslie via Commonwealth Avenue, Australian War Memorial, and Lonsdale Street.

Meet from 9:30am for 10am departure.

Just like in 2018, meet at the car park just past Red Hill lookout (keep an eye out for the Doctor Who TARDIS) on Red Hill Drive. Red Hill Drive is a dead-end with a loopback, so head to the end and come back around the loop and line up off the road wherever space allows.

Note 1: you may remember there being a cafe here, but it is now a restaurant, so don't assume you can grab a coffee there.

Note 2: remember that these are all open public roads, so you are still bound by normal road rules. Don't do anything dangerous or anything that will impede the normal flow of traffic. On multi-lane roads, stay to the left so normal traffic can get around on the right.
