Volvo Wheel Fitment Guide
i am happy to be corrected if I am wrong.
And... will the change in tire sizes allow the narrower tires for the V50 to fit the rims off the XC70?

Interesting about the plastic / nylon hb rings . I ran RH Cups on an old VW years ago with rings and had no problems .
I see you can get alloy hb rings now as well . Any good ?
I ask because i'm wanting later on to go to a 18x8 rim , off set is 38 but can use spacers but the only cb i can find at the moment is a 73.1 so hence rings will be needed to get to a cb of 65.1.

Plastic is fine and lighter.
All they do is fill up the gap and the centre bore lip is only for locating the wheel so you can fit the bolts , the bolts do all the work , actually its the surface tension of the wheel held against the hub really as thats what bolts do. An in depth look at that stuff is in google......

Yep read enough over the years Snoop and also ran with them as well . I never had any trouble with them in the past , just wondering why some have trouble with em ?

To add some info to this thread, the p80 center bore protrusion / bore height on the FRONT AXLE is 12mm, measured on my 2000 c70
10 YEARS LATER (lol)

The 140/164 up to YM 1974 (& B20 versions of the 1800 with 4-wheels discs) actually have a -40mm offset; the wheels were either 5 inches wide, or 5.5 inch width on the 164s and 1800s.
The YM 1975 164s (rarely seen in OZ) used the 240 offset, as they also used the 240 diff assembly with the smaller track.
@Rory / @Major Ledfoot I've updated the post with the new data, please let me know if there are errors!
Hey James. I'll add the S/V40 rims. A lot of JDM rims from the period fit.
S40/V40 (1996-2004) 4x114.3 / 4x4.5 42-46mm 67.1mm ?
Update to this, looks like the rear hub protrusion is greater then the front, i never measured, seems to be 12.5mm where it tapers in and maybe protrudes to 15cm~.
12mm is correct for the FRONT ONLY.
