update time!!!
Haven't done anymore to the wagon lately but the new carpet came last week so that's the next job to be done but time for some exciting news..... drum roll...........
I bought another Volvo!!!
The misses needed a new daily so we decided a 200 series would be the smartest option cause I know them well and have sheds full of spare parts.
we found a really nice 1979 264GLE.
we picked it up yesterday and drove it 2 hours home on permit and it was great...... slow and boaty but great.
This thing is sooo bloody clean, the paint is great, there's a few crappy spots here and there but you really have to go looking for them and not one single dint on the whole car.
The interior is near immaculate apart from a couple rips in the drivers seat. every plastic looks brand new, dash is mint no cracks everything is perfect
The old PRV V6 has been removed at some point and a B21E has been put in its place.
No major plans for the car just going to give it a good service and throw rego on it.
it does need to be lowered it sits ridiculously high especially the front for now I'm just going to chop the springs but eventually it will have new low kings and new shocks
engine wise not alot will happen other then cleaning it up, it ran great, a little rich and super slow but great
its got a 3 speed box in it so sits abit high in revs on the hwy but that's fine for now, I have a Aw70 here if it gets annoying but I would like to manual swap it eventually.
when the misses is done dailying it I think I'll throw it on club rego, manual swap, dual carb setup and keep it as a Slow Sunday cruiser
