OK it's been awhile alot has happened/is happening so I thought I should update this.
the wagon is running good a few small issues I need to sort out but nothing major.
probably the biggest news is I sold my 360 ? a guy at my local parts store hit me up if I wanted to sell it I said no but he planted that seed I started to think about it and a week later I told him I would sell it.
I loved the 360 in all its nugget glory but it was getting abit much trying to get my wagon done, the 360 done and my partners 68 beetle so I decided it's best to focus on the wagon and when I'm not working on the wagon work on this stupid backwards bloody beetle.
now that I have 1 less project I've gone full steam into the wagon and spent alot of money buying sweet parts for it.
the first thing I have done is installed some R Design leather seats out of a V40, they fit great and are soo comfortable, the whole Interior will be getting redone in black so it looks abit silly atm but the interior is the last thing I'll be attacking I just did the seats now cause I had them and my back needed better seats
they are almost a direct bolt on just had to add a washer and remove a washer haha I havent connected all the electrics yet to get the recline and up down functions etc but I'll do that soon, I do need to modify the mounts abit to get the seat abit lower as it is my legs hit the giant volvo steering wheel and my partner can't actually reach the pedals haha
I hated the headrests on the seats they were super high and pointy and didn't suit the car at all so I found some shorter ones out of a Mercedes-Benz van that fit perfect.
I'm actually playing around with an idea to modify and mount the original 240 headrest, I think they will look great and keep that iconic 240 look and match the rears.
not sure how I'll actually make it work but we will see.
I would get them recovered in the same colour leather as well to match obviously
next exciting thing: I've bought a rebuilt 16T angled flange turbo, ported 90+ manifold and TLAO fuel and ignition chips I'm hoping to get that on this wknd, I'll need a new dump made and getting the angled flange 16T to mount to the 90+ was a bloody pain, the flange covers 1 hole so you need to leave 1 stud in and take some meat off the manifold and run the nut on the other side, this proved difficult cause the hole had already been drilled out so I went full dodgy and got a smaller bolt straight thru with a nut on top and bottom I still had to take some meat off to get the nut underneath.. its all clamped down nice and tight but isn't pretty.
I relocked it and got a yoshifab bracket and T3 wastegate.
I've been buying parts like crazy and spending money like a rich man. I got all my suspension goodies from Dvs performance parts ash has been awesome helping me work out the best way to go.
I've got Bilstien B6 shocks and struts, Dvs special front kings, lowered rear kings, poly bushes throughout, strut brace, chassis braces, adjustable panhard and adjustable swaybar links.
I'm going to run a falcon front swaybar and this weird rear swaybar I pulled of a rally 240 that sits in front of the diff.
I've also bought all new inner and outer tierods, new boots and ball joints and wheel bearings.
next up I'll be ordering all the brake stuff I'm going to be getting: Brembo slotted front rotors with Qfm a1rm pads, rear Brembo rotors with Akebono pads.
I also bought a bigger trans cooler I'm currently only running the external 740T one and not running it thru the radiator so I doubt it's doing much to help cool things down this one should be abit better.
I'm also due for new tires I'm going to be keeping the Scorpious rims for now till funds build back up then I want some Ocean super Dtms. I have found some Hankook optimo K715 tires in 205/70R14 they look like a good tire for the price and abit fatter to get some more meat on the ground, currently the shitty old 185s I have loose traction the second I come onto boost..
I need to upgrade my fuel pumps I'm currently still running the stock NA pumps I have a 740 intake pump to go in and an external Bosch 044 pump I need to figure out what needs to be changed to run the 044 I haven't really looked into that yet.
After I do all that I'm going to be working on a better PCV system with catch can and breathers etc I also want to go e-fan then it will be time to attack the interior and stereo stuff.
sorry for the massive post I had abit of spare time so figured I would just list it all while it's fresh in my head.
