Nice looking wagon Dave and the 360 are an interesting little beast. Sorry to hear about the 240, hope you can get a few bits off it for future projects.

I don't envy what your going through, sorry to hear about your situation. Is it recoverable? How long?

Did you end up taking out the double leaf springs? Whats in the front? What shocks? Could you replace SOME of the more offensive bushes back to rubber? 100% get rid of the poly engine/trans mounts if they're in there.

Get a suspended bus seat lol.

At the end of the day cars are there for us to enjoy. If it's bringing you pain well then its not of much use to you and you will end up hating it, just to be a voice of reason…

jlfents it's recoverable but to what extent I don't know , I've done my l5/s1 disc 4 other times in the past but never like this .

I have to see a neurosurgeon end of July and have some cortisone shots and see if that helps me .

There's lots I could do to the 360 to make it more bearable but it just won't be the same for me, I had a specific Goal and pulled it off I couldn't undo all that work it would just piss me off .

It's ok i could move it on and get fully excited about the next car as I said for me it's more making what's in my head real after that I seem to lose intrest pretty fast the adhd is pretty strong with me haha
I've just managed to be able to focus all my energy on 1 thing till completion after that is where I struggle and either start going overboard (my wagon) or just lose total intrest and move onto the next thing .

So a decision was made and a deal done

I swapped my 360 for this incredibly clean 240 sedan , its like a time capsule its soooo clean .

Seeing as the daily is sorted its time to get back into the wagon.

Those seats look like they've come from a late 80s/early 90s corolla coupe, fantastic seats!

I started with a $500 Wagon and have ended on a 6k 240t wagon I'm done I know when to walk away , I was never one to sell /swap cars fast but all the right things got offered and it kinda just unfolded haha
2 late model turbo 240s is definitely my happy place so no more for me...for awhile haha

ive been playing around with the new wagon and done a few things

i installed a boost gauge , wideband and Knocksense to keep an eye on things and a double Din stereo.

i had some black door cards i wanted to use so i found some little 4" soundstream speakers that would fit under the stock grills .
these little speakers absolutely pump for how small they are .

looks abit silly atm beig all mismatched but it seems ive started the process of changing the interior to black like my other wagon, i just really hate the tan .

added my sheepskins for my back and to hide the hideous and torn drivers seat

i made it out to a meet ,

my alternator briefly stopped charging for some unknown reason so i changed it out for a 100A Denso unit .

weirdly the Denso alternator was keeping the battery light on while ignition was turned off so i had to pull it out and borrow my other wagons Denso alternator ,its all in and working fine so ill have to find someone to rebuild it perhaps .

i got some roof racks aswell!!
