Yeah to true, could easily go down that rabbit hole. One way to acheive full seqiential fuel and spark would be using an LH2.4 flywheel for engine speed and modifying the LH2.2 distributor for cam position pick-up.
That said, its a lot more complex for someone particularly if they dont have experience.
I dipped my toe in the water by setting up batch fire megasquirt on my 244. Most of the way through upping my game setting up my 242 with full sequential spark and fuel, boost control, flex fuel, fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temp, shift lights, individual egt's, etc.
