Once a cars a lemon it's always a lemon, I've already spent a fair bit on it already, but I intend to keep fixing it up, only because I like the car

Yeah, once complete let me know how good it is and if it works out well, I'll have to do the conversion as well

It's a sure set up. Lots do it in the states with the mustang T5
I'm using the same type box, just the Aussie version

Intank pumps don't cause much of an issue most of the time I've found as long as the external pump is working ;) Tapping it and the car starting is a giveaway, how low is the fuel tank? below 1/4 of a tank I've found the 740's with extra tanks have more issues compared to my wagon.

Yeah, thanks for the advice Alex, it's much appreciated, though my prediction was completely wrong, the problem was the fuel pressure regulator, I've had a new genuine Volvo one ordered from Volvo for me at the cost of around $275
