Something like this would work
MBC's can be alot of fun but also dangerous, yes you can set the boost but there is no control of when that boost comes on ie straight away so if you start flooring the loud pedal at low rpms ie under 3000rpm you will quite likely bend the standard con rods, where as with a good map boost is controlled so the higher boost levels will not come in until after approximately 3.5k.

Is pressure or vac required to set wastegate?

Pressure to set the wastegate, I built my own with a small regulator, a needle valve, a 10psi gauge and a fitting that connects to your tire valve to supply pressure. Ipd do sell them but with import and conversion rates it's quite expensive

Nice yes thats easy. Altho i only have hydraulic fitting and guages so high pressure but any truck workshop shoud have access to all thoes parts.

Erm.... Guilty as charged, I have no excuse, may of had a few beers and a quick ebay search for "pumps" without checking 😂, I'll knock the 20 bucks of the price of the ecu mate 👍

Unless you can change the polarity of the pump so it pushes instead of pulls?

Speaking of drunk ebay buys , i bought a 3.5" tail pipe , bit of grinding here n there and some exhaust paste it doesn't look too bad 😜

So nothing happened over the weekend due to my back so plenty of rest and plenty of codine lol . This afternoon i chose a couple of parts to polish up . Thermostat housing and fuel rail cover . I've found oven cleaner exelent to get anodizing off and mothers alloy polish very good for polishing. Always a bugger on cast to get a decent finish though ....

Looks not too bad , not shiney but very cleen and smooth .....

Always found these a little awkward to polish up , never a perfect result unfortunately.

I droped off some engine plastics that are going to get painted then dipped , about time the car got treated ..

Very satisfying! I recall polishing a t:stat housing and knocking the nipple off.....buggr....in the bin!

You could do some renovation on the back! Ask your GP for lyrica and get a good osteopath.

Had an operation on it on 1st june then had 6 weeks off . Should have taken 10 weeks but it all seemed good . Hours of bending over the bonnet triggered it thursday . That lyrica doesn't do much , pure codine takes most of the pain away .

Yeah i do enjoy polishing alloy up , shouldn't have sold my petrol compressor it was far easier with that rather than a bench drill .

It's staying put , it's just starting to get somewhere , no smell either lol
