Decided to opt for an after market head unit but in keeping with the era Not full screen
With this the lights are blue so I'm changing all switches to blue plus the cluster etc . Found a site with a thread all about it a couple of weeks ago so ordered the leds as local shops didn't do some of them in particular the T3 bulbs for the switches . With reading the thread the bulb for the shifter light you have to take apart so I got a few locally and had a go plus the cigarette lighter and ash tray
Broke a few wires on the new bulbs but got there in the end . Apparently these are the hard ones to do so thought I'd try these first. The switches are just in and out . I've lost a lot of the wood trim around the shifter and the tray so that needs sorting as well at some point ...
