Coffee & Pies is back for 2018, heading back to Pie in the Sky, Cowan, on Sunday February 18. Meet at 12pm.

Pie in the Sky has, predictably, great pies, and the coffee is decent too, plus there's plenty of nice outdoor seating and if the weather is nice you will be treated to a steady parade of nice cars and motorbikes.

We can go for a cruise down to Brooklyn (10 minutes) afterwards.

Pie in the Sky is accessible via the Old Pacific Hwy just north of Cowan. From Sydney the best route is to join the F3 (aka M1 Sydney-Newcastle) and take the Pacific Hwy [B83] Berowra / Mt Kuring-gai exit.

Sounds great. I will be there but not in a volvo sadly.
If I can get the 960 wagon off the wife I will pop up.

Ms Wife and I have a meeting in the morning, so we will be there, but late.

Great. Their rep is very good since changing hands - parking not spectacular there as far as I remember, that's all.

Burrawang is a gorgeous little spot but doesn't really have a pie and coffee kind of place. Does have a pub with a massive beer garden though, if you wanted to make it more of a lunch thing.




Burrawang general store is great too, but a bit more fancy.
Does the pub at Burrawang have coffee & pies?

it has pub grub and yes, they do coffee.

It's a pretty much perfect spot to relax, but not so much to hang around engine bays.
