This rig did me proud on the weekend, driving 2000kms round trip for #ozvolvonats2019, not one failure! It was not the most comfortable trip, but also not nearly as bad as I expected...

Now time for a bit of a once over and then out to a track for some sideways action!

So I finally got the 15x8’s fitted with some tyres and put on the car, pretty happy with the look! Finally get to take the thing out drifting this weekend with a few mates for an iso drift sesh at Archerfield drift park, keen to say the least! It has been a while (7+ years since I have drifted) but I’m interested to see how it performs on its first outing...

So I bought another M47 to fill in until my other plans come together, let’s see how long this one lasts...

I am also waiting on some bits from kaplhenke, rose jointed upper trailing arms and roll centre correction, he is waiting on his current revision roll centre correction to go through the QC process but hope to see them by the end of October.

Also purchased this, which will go on in due course, still more items to collect yet...

I fitted some Kaplhenke QSRC to the front (great quality product by the way) to somewhat correct my geometry issues, fitted some adjustable upper trailing arms from them also and the front apron i purchased from @jamesinc has arrived after COVID related delays.

So far, so good, haven't really driven it much unfortunately. i think it needs some fine tuning to get it right as i just set them to standard length and have left them there so far. The QSRC is great, but now i think I'm going to have to go to bigger wheels or tubular control arms, as on the middle setting pictured here the 15's are hitting the standard control arms...

So I haven’t really done much on this aside from drive it once in a while, due to life and a penchant for buying other Volvos 🤣

But I did buy some wheels for it to replace the 15’s (which have found their way onto another car), with the QSRC fitted and set on the mid setting the small wheels were hitting the control arms at full lock so I have stepped up to some 17’s.

What brand are those wheels? And are they available in 18 or 19”?

ramrod they are a Sparco NT wheel, not sure if they come in bigger sizes sorry as I got these on Facebook marketplace but being a JDM wheel I would imagine they probably do?

I am using spacer adaptors to make them fit as they are 5x114.3 pcd also.
