They come as a complete assembly and use orginal Volvo spindles, essentially ready to bolt in.

We recently started offering them in 16" bodies with 7" of stroke (23"), which are well suited to when a vehicle has the need for more droop or max travel.

Not uncommon. In my 240, I used these plates too but welded the top plate in place.
I've seen a few people also weld another plate, as per the one that sits on the inside of the tower on Aus-delivered cars, to the top of the tower as well.
