Well, the day finally came. I knew it was coming, but I just didn’t know when.

My girl and I may be moving overseas next year, so trying to sell Bluey was always going to happen. I knew it would be an issue finding a buyer who agreed in the value of the mods done to the car, as well as having the general respect of a Volvo enthusiasts name.

But I’ve found one! Guy on the I roll Facebook group named Robert Has agreed to swap his clean 89 240 wagon for my ratty sedan!

I figured they were worth about the same with cost of mods included, he wasn’t upset about putting a little cash my way also as an incentive.

Thanks to everyone who helped out with this project, for info and parts, helping me learn about my first ever project car. Thanks @jamesinc for the constant delivery of parts and the awesome valve cover and @ramrod for emergency radiator when it blew up, @Raebird for the inspiration and discussions, @pigdog for the round light front, @AshDVS for great quality suspension parts and very detailed explanations.
inspiration vv

Mine ^^
The goal of a static low, daily driven 240 has been achieved in my eyes, I know I could have gone so much further, so maybe in the future I’ll do a ratty sedan again. But for now, I’ve joined the wagon gang.

Cheers
