Given the amount of oil use on the 144 that may be me self combusting.

I had intended to bring the 164 down but I am not driving it that far. Picked up a new ute today so may load it on the trailer and run it down.
or I may end up in the XC70. That is 1 less 1 :( which is crap, but 1 more P3 :) which is good

If you want a stop on your way through @Rob , let me know. There's space here in fArmidale if you want to break the journey up; it doesn't look the most direct route, but the offer is there if you wanted.
thanks Ed, appreciate it. I have not yet decided which way I will go.
can people bring every spare 240 strut brace they'd like to sell? either i'll be there, or big willy will grab them for men and bring them to me

Are there any astronomy buffs among us? Does anyone know if we can do a sky tour at the dish?
- Edited
@A_Volvo_Driver I don't know that I would call myself an astronomy buff, but you wouldn't be able to do a sky tour, at least not what you probably have in mind. Parkes is a radio telescope, so it doesn't have an immediate visual output that you can look at, i.e. no eyepiece or anything like that.
They do have some cool stuff to do though:

- Marvel at the engineering beauty of the Dish in our viewing area
- Explore our Astronomy and Space Science Exhibition
- Discover the Universe in our high definition 3D theatre
- Challenge your kids with the AstroKids Scavenger Hunt.
- Taste the delights of the region in our award winning 'Dish Café'
further to my request, does anybody have a pair of 5x108 wheels they would like to sell?

Project 960 Wagon. So, my genuine windscreen has arrived, my new windscreen surround has arrived and my front and rear subframe bushes have arrived. Now to get it all together, get a roadworthy and book a Vic Roads inspection for Friday - last day of it's Tas. reg.(not that it matters, as I can get a temporary unreg pass)
This is cutting it fine and it has to go like clockwork - and these things rarely do!
There's few things that could go wrong!?!?!?!?!?

I won't be able to attend unfortunately, I am really bummed about that, but the 360 is nowhere near ready yet and turns out my missus has organised a birthday gathering on the very same weekend. I am happy that I could contribute to the cause though and I hope everyone has an exceptionally good time, I want to see lots of pictures...
Its not over yet...........
I've had a week long battle with gremlins in the wagon but come 7pm we're sailing so fingers crossed!
Olga is heading off this morning in the direction of Parkes with a stopover in Dubbo.
