I feel like this would make the car feel quicker day to day. Getting a power tune is good and all, but what's the point if you only feel it in 3rd or above at 100kph+?. Getting that limiter removed would make the most of the a power tune then, provided the AW55 can hold up to 400nm+ in 1st and 2nd.
I'm looking at getting the limiter removed, but not before I flush the fluid.
I shudder to think what condition it's in after 122K kms.
If the limiter is removed and power turned up, it likely would be a good idea to get an external atf cooler. Most of what I've read suggests the AW55 is tough but the main issue with the trans once more power is run through it, is fluid overheating.
But this only seems to be a problem when driven hard for extended periods of time. Depends how you drive.
