The Bilstein B14 and B16 kits are nicer in FWD cars than they are in AWD.
In AWD cars, the common complaint is as per
@Philia_Bear notes about his S40T5 AWD.
It's really just a case of the spring rate and shock - the spring rate particularly - not being a great fit for AWD models.
Bilstein listed different part numbers for the B6 shock for AWD vs FWD, despite them being physically
interchangeable.

I was wondering since so much stuff is interchangeable between the focus and C30 if the springs would a. fit the C30? b. make any difference to the ride height? and c. change the ride significantly in favour of cornering ability?
Thanks
The LV Focus RS (on the P1 shared platform) actually is quite a bit different than the LS-LV Focus XR5, BK-BL Mazda3 MPS and any of the P1 Volvo models.
It shares quite a bit more with the Kuga compact SUV than you might expect.
Front subframe, uprights and front suspension is quite different due to the RevoKnuckle front end setup it uses (to combat torque steer). Brakes are also not interchangeable between XR5 and RS models.
Front springs may fit, though I actually dont know - I've never looked at them together.
If they do fit, I would expect them to be quite different to those used in the XR5.
Rear springs will fit, no problem, I believe they are they same part number - aside from having a wider track (achieved largely via a different hub assembly), the RS and XR5 are quite similar in the rear. Again, brakes are not interchangeable in the rear.
Ride height wise, the XR5 and RS are pretty close. The RS is a tad higher in the front (comparing similar aged cars - about 5mm).
Drop me an email if you'd like more info on what we can offer as far as suspension options are concerned.
We also have some decent used options in stock that might suit your needs.
