It isn't in North Qld, more south west. I could organise to get it to my place without too much hassle... and Canberra to my place return is a weekend trip. I did it a few weeks back. I may even be able to deliver it at some stage, depending on work commitments. You are more than welcome to leave it here until you organise something.

Rob, that is a very fine offer, I will seriously consider it, I have sent a message to the seller to clarify a few questions. It is one of those V6's with over 350k on the clock, so not too sure how that will go, a bit scary??. What do you think? The price is certainly right and overall condition looks good in the photos'.

Good Morning Greg;I bought the car from a wholesale car dealer 6 months ago in Brisbaneand drove her home 400 k's. I have driven her once each month about 10 K's here on the property since.The service book shows that she was bought new in Newcastle NSW on the15/08/1979 ; then changed ownership in 1992 to Queensland.Thats all I now about the service of the engine; The motor is veryquite no rattles or taps sounds very tight and happy. The coolant isclean and green the oil is clean; no water or oil leaks.The interior is 9/10 no wear marks, tears ect very clean and origional.I actually bought the car to register on club plates but we areshifting back to vic.Hope this helps.

I've rung Tiga and got some good drum. A general question to throw out there is about sourcing parts for it, I'm going to put in an offer but just want to make sure that when I get it back to the ACT and find the engine is about to blow up, I can source parts easy enough. Haven't got the room to store a second 'parts car'. I found another on Ebay that is being wrecked at Wellington NSW. How do I put that onto the RADAR on this site?

Yeah, this is pretty ordinary, not much technical stuff but a reasonable look at the engine bare. Contacted Pom Volvrek (very helpful) & they have 6 good engines in stock @$600 ea. also mentioned a 2.3 will fit straight in, same wiring loom, just need to change computer & tail shaft @ same money.
