Vee_Que Join the inner gaurd to the chassis rail, that is a common failure point. Poor dog having to be a gaurd. Lonely life :(
Angus242164 ECU in the engine bay has been the norm for most makes for the last 15-20 years, many have it mounted directly to the intake manifold, VT-VY V8 Commodores have it only a few cm from the LH exhaust header with only a thin heat shield, and they never seem to fail.
Vee_Que Overkill on the plate just like mine, so you didn't answer and I am interested, the front shocks, are they staying seperate to the. Springs? If not, any reason or gain to go coil over style? Particularly given Andy whites targa class winning car uses seperate springs and shocks, and has bump steer issues as the roll centre on these things suck...
