It will be a shame but I'm sure the fun factor will make it worth it!
Philia_Bear;117300 wroteWhich tune is going onto it?
I'll run a custom elevate tune, Don has always looked after me and His products are top notch.
Looking good in the engine bay, how long till it turns the tyres in anger?

Thanks I'm hoping around a month till I can start it, just have to drop some more coin on the fuel system and finish terminating the loom and it will start
Painted the intake box today and finished modifying the fuel cell mount.

Ive been thinking about it and I would love to bring it but I might leave it at home this year and bring it next year when it's fully completed opposed to bringing a project.
Does that mean the 240 will make an appearance?
Few things arrived today, filter, the last two oil lines and 5 rolls of Tesa loom tape.

Seriously horny but I must... stop... looking... at... that... cable... tie

Ha I know right!! It's definitely on my to do list but as I still have to remove the front to paint. the cable tie is the easiest temporary way to stop the bonnet pin catching on the lines. Thinking I'll probably end up using a stainless exhaust tie in the end.
10 days later
So spent today running power and earths through the amazon and mounting the battery under the rear left fender. Car is now wired up and just waiting on the rest of the fuel stuff to start it up.

I like it too but as it's only purpose is to act as a link to power the gauge cluster that I won't be using in the long run I might not use it unless I repurpose some of the buttons and potentiometers to perform other tasks.
I like the battery box. The c30 centre console and instrument cluster takes away from the awesomeness of the engine. How many parts do you need from it? (I realise you won't reply)

Is the box already built and is it still the falcon El t5?

Would be nice to see the "tuning" knob become a boost control pot

Actually I'll be running a variable exhaust and bov so they could be incorporated in it too.
This dash would work well with the console. No idea which fwd thing it's from though. The gear knob suits it well too. The long one that is meant to go near the firewall made to fit a t5 but not shortened looks dated and un original.

@Vee_Que the console is only fitted to power up the factory cluster, which isnt actually going to be used. It just happened to have enough length in the loom to sit it there and suits the shifter location. Its unlikely to end up in the finished car but may be used as a rough template for a custom console. The original shifter is just sitting on the t5 linkage at the moment.

We toyed with the idea of using the complete c30 dash but its quite large and the one you have posted would be essentially custom and has just used a few stock fascias/switches to tie it in. Fritz will be doing a custom lower dash and console and leaving the stock style dashtop.

Im surprised you have such a strong opinion on what suits an amazon dashboard considering what you have done with your car or is that temporary?
