Ha They have actually settled into their new home nicely and don't require the unsightly zip tie to hold them away from the bonnet release anymore!

Took a few photos of the almost finished air box out of the car, was going to machine up a billet aluminum cover but I'm thinking a clear acrylic cover could look better.

Also had this arrive in the post so naturally I lowered it and widened the track right away! Will get some blue and yellow vinyl and put the flag on the roof too when I get a chance.

It's been a fair while since my last update, I've had a bit of time away from the amazon and also been a bit lazy on the build but I'm back into full swing,

stubtech torana 2 inch drop spindles are in with commodore rotors and calipers (these will be upgraded at a later date

I've also been removing some of the dead weight from the c30 looms and tidying up the wiring here's a photo of the fuel system loom top is what I removed and the black loom at the bottom of the photo is what I ended up with.

Will be posting more often from now on.

So the arms are not being changed in the end? Did it need much to adapt as the dropped stubs would be awesome for any 122.

Arms are still getting replaced but not at the moment,

Not too much to get them in
Custom tie rods
Upper torana ball joint needs modification to fit and a 67 camaro screw in lower ball joint and some modifications to the lower amazon item

I'll put it on the wheel aligner while the drop spindles are fitted to the stock Amazon arms and get the specs for you to assess if it's a viable option. The king pin inclination seems to suggest it will be about right. Its possible to alter the lower arm length when modifying the lower ball joint if retaining stock arms too

I see a tee shirt or desktop if you shoot from lower profile, get that glorious 5cyl and piping etc inside an old bus, such a great project!

Very nice, staying at stock control arm height would be awesome. And a good way to convert to an xf falcon or p76 vented disc with a bigger Caliper too, as is common in hot ridding.

Options are endless, and only limited by wheel size with these stub axles as they use the commodore caliper mounts. It has currently got 290mm vented VN V8 brakes but you can run vt hubs and that opens up the numerous stock commodore setups/brake upgrades

I want to keep Ford pattern so xf/p76 is more viable.
