deleted_user_160 Race cars have to advertise the fancy parts. I didn't think 18's would look decent. Thought they would be like monster trucks. Though this works
Vspeed It's had 18s on it for the last 10 years.to me they are the perfect size for it..fill the guards right up. I would prefer 17s but 17s wouldnt clear the front brakes 18s are a tight fit
Vspeed I started to assemble the engine this week.onve it's assembled I can install it and plumb everything up for the final time
Vspeed Engine plumbing is coming along nicely. Hopefully install the engine over Christmas and then ceramic coat the manifolds
Vspeed They were custom made in the USA.no bushes on the rocker shaft either.they are needle roller bearings
Vspeed Very quick update. All fab work is finished and the tailshaft Is done. Will be running in 3-4 weeks time
Vspeed The flywheel was made by TTV Racing in the UK.it was made to accept the 7.25 inch Tilton clutch
Vspeed Update. Running in tune . Only 10 psi boost and 5000 rev limit my 142 made 173kw at the wheels. Still alot more in it.once running 30 psi boost and 8000 rev. limit
Vspeed My 142 has had its final tune. It made more power but we turned it down to what is hopefully a safe power out put.its making 353kw at the wheels running 17 psi boost. It's only had a quick drive and it's alot of fun
