Angus242164 As far as I know, 100 and 200 series have identical width between wheel mounting faces on the rear end. 100 front track is the same as the rear, 200 has a wider front track.
Vspeed A 140 diff is 20mm longer than a 240 diff. I did have 18x8 ET 20 and they just cleared the outer guard and i had 3/4 inch clearance to the top shock bolt. Now with ET 26 I have the same guard clearance on the outside and 1/4 inch to the top shock bolt. The extra 1/2 of the wheel width was put all on the inside and guard clearance is tight.and may still rub with 235/40 R 18 .if they do I will have to pump the guards a bit. The current 225/40R18 don't rub on the guards
deleted_user_160 Pop the coils out and see how they fair? I know I rub at full comp on the rear with 205/55/15 (virgos)
Vspeed It's on the hoist at the moment. I will worry about it when I get it home and have tires on the wheels..it will be fine..nothing I can't sort out
deleted_user_160 True. It's not like it is on show in two weeks. I'm still waiting for rubber to turn up, and list finished assembling my rays, after a significant delay. And had to machine 90 bolts for them. Now assembled and it's onto first silicone layer tomorrow night. Hopefully rubber comes late week. And i can get second layer on in time. Fit up and pickup the car during the week.
Vspeed I'm off to New Zealand tomorrow for 2 weeks so my car is staying at the workshop until I return
Vspeed The intercooler pipes and tanks have been finished. One step closer
deleted_user_160 Vee_Que;88041 wroteHow big is the piping!? Even 15l trucks don't run 4" piping.. That's inlet piping. Not pressure pipes Alex. Its very common than you think on the inlet side of the turbo. Especially where antisurge housings are found

guru Moved radiator forward a bit. what size is it?. moving forward reduces the depth a bit, or at least would on y 142, although its the small bumper big tail light model. was going to use standard one...
deleted_user_160 guru;88072 wrotecould we have a pic wit the top shroud or theradiator off please? Do t think it has. Looking at the bolt on this side of the cover, and the filler cap on the other. Looks similar. @V_speed glad it's finally making steam.
Vspeed The radiator has been moved forward and the outside dimentions are smaller than the original radiator but it is alot thicker and being alloy it's already 30% more efficient over the original unit. The smaller outside dimentions won't be an issue. It also has a thermo fan up against the core.unlike the original
Vspeed My simmons wheels are on with 235/40 R18 Nitro NT01 Tyres My cam arrived today specific Turbo grind for my B20. Time to assemble my "good" engine
Angus242164 I love the rims, they suit the car perfectly, especially at that height. I reckon the shopping list along the sill detracts a little from the otherwise very clean look, but each to their own of course.
