Hey it's perfect enough that I figured out how to get it up my driveway without scraping the bumper. It's hard in reverse, the driveway isn't that wide and you need to hit it on an angle.
James's 1996 850R "Minty"
More like some someone door dents you.
Soon as I saw it I thought 'Whoa, black betty (bam-a-lam)...the damn thing gone wild', etc.sucksqueezebangblow;72383 wroteNumber plate says "Betsy"?jamesinc wroteI'm back in the P80 game! I'm still deciding on a name for this one.
Who am I to fight the crowd, the car is called Betsy now.
Okay so it turns out the front shocks are Koni adjustable (this is the second 850R I've bought with Koni adjustables).
Anyway the passenger side appears to leak.@AshDVS is this something that can be repaired?

I finally got some free time to take a look at the engine bay. Overall it's not bad. The PCV hoses are a bit hard, but it's not leaking or blocked as far as I can tell. The leads look pretty ordinary, and I can't find any evidence of them having been replaced (the car came with service receipts back to 2007). Same for cap and rotor. The plugs were last done in 2013 it seems. So I think in the first instance I'll do the plugs, leads, cap, and rotor. There's also notes in the service history from a few years back about oil under the car. I haven't got under it yet, but it hasn't left any oil spots in the driveway, so maybe that was the front crank seal, which was replaced with the timing belt last year.
Ive got cap and rotors and wires in stock if you want to work on it today
You're as bad as FCP. You home all day?
In and out due to local shopping and then running someone to the airport at about 5pmjamesinc;73316 wroteYou're as bad as FCP. You home all day?

<strike>I'll drop round at 3 then</strike> actually I'll have to postpone until next weekend
Not so sure about the name!
James I think the cap, leads, rotor were done when the head was reco'ed. So that would be a while back.
There was a minor oil leak that sured up when the seal was done as you mentioned. I haven't seen any leaks on the floor since. The plugs are genuine Volvo which have a longer life, mechanic said we would do them the next service.

Well someone noticed the number plate reads as Betsy, and the name stuck.

So smol

needs more light bar
Needs more love. Parking between two discos is asking for door dents, sheesh
Park next to an i30 and will still look tiny!
I didn't park between them, they parked around me. Probably attracted to the dent-free doors.
