I have to alter my feedback a bit. I was unimpressed with how long it took them to ship the item, however the shipping was very fast and well priced, the parts were well packed, and exactly as I asked. The fact that shipping was so efficient meant that it was 14 days to my doorstep. It was also less than 50% of the price of the same part from Volvo in Australia, including postage. The package contained a letter explaining that severe weather events had caused freight delays and gave their apologies. I really can't ask for more than that...... +1.Rob;11150 wroteNot solid enough info for a + or - yet but so far I am fairly disappointed with http://VolvoPartsWebstore.com
I ordered and paid for some parts on Wednesday 12th Feb at 7.30am CDT and after 4 or 5 emails I received an email stating it has been shipped on 20th Feb at 7.10am CDT.. that is 8 days just to dispatch it. I will reserve final judgement until it turns up but not overly impressed so far.

Precision suck, very pricey indeed. They have no interest in working with any Volvo older than 10 years.
Not just that but you can email the head guy in English and all is fine. I spoke to him a few years back and sent an email in Swedish and he responded back in English.A_Volvo_Driver;8158 wroteDoes anyone here speak Swedish though? I wouldn't mind getting some clear tail lights.jamesinc;8129 wroteAnother Swedish one - L-M-R http://www.l-m-r.se/
They do a lot of 7/9 aerokit parts and other generally awesome stuff.
EDIT: there is an English button. I am an idiot *facepalm*

I used Skandix a couple of years ago to buy a Swedish made lowered suspension set and other parts, dealt with Kristian, she speaks english and was pleasant to deal with. Also the parts landed here promptly and all up cost saving over local production of about $100.Tigabu;7657 wroteSkandix has Lotso but never dealt with them
Between the UK, US and Europe, what locality generally ships the cheapest? I'm confused by the differences, for example in the US some parts are cheaper but more expensive to ship while other parts are more expensive and cheaper to ship? And they're coming from the same general area ie: West Coast :-(
UK is generally cheaper (British mail) you can also get surface/sea mail rates from the UK.
The other good thing about UK parts is they suit the LHD cars.

Yes that
This forum is at risk of becoming useful for things.
Yep.
The only downside is that I can find only one UK supplier online & they have limited 1977 264 parts.nickm;14772 wroteUK is generally cheaper (British mail) you can also get surface/sea mail rates from the UK.

Other options are shipping forwarders especially when buying from suppliers that offer free domestic shipping or ebay purchases whirlpool.net.au/wiki/international_shipping_services
@K3FS4R that deserves to be in the supplier list up top.nickm;14851 wroteOther options are shipping forwarders especially when buying from suppliers that offer free domestic shipping or ebay purchases whirlpool.net.au/wiki/international_shipping_services
Done. And also added Smart Send too for those looking for a cheap natiowide shipping option. Used them a few hundred times now myself with minimal fuss so I recommend them.
Any other recommended shipping options, I'll throw up as well :)

Positives for both DVS, Berry motor group (Carson &Murphy now) and Voldat. Voldat and Berry work well together so if one doesn't have something, they get in touch with the other.
If you feel like adding another to the international list:
http://www.davebarton.com/
I have bought a few bits and bobs from there, horn button, relays, stickers all of fantastic quality, good communication and shipping

+1 for DVS, front strut brace for my C70 is excellent.
I had a couple of negative experiences with Swedish Wreckers in the past, as well as some good ones, it used to depend very much on which staff you got, which ultimately turned me off using them altogether. Haven't been there in recent years so can't comment on whether it's still like this.
Centre Road Wreckers in Springvale is a self-serve wreckers that usually has a decent number of Volvo's in stock.

i can't believe you guys haven't mentioned rockauto.com for general parts (non performance). They are EASILY the best supplier I've used in the US. Shipping rates aren't too terrible either.
just placed an order for
(4) KYB GR2 shocks
(2) rotors
(2) pads
shipped to my wife in the states.... after rebates $198. Shipped to OZ would've been $605.
