There are two main suppliers for wasted spark boards, to fit the Bosch EZ-116K (LH2.4) ignition modules; I got one from each.

Ordered a wasted spark ignition board for the EZ-116K and some kit from Fabian, and this is what I got.

It's a really nicely made wiring loom and the components are all top shelf. I'm very pleased.

CFoMoto is run by 'Duder' from Turbobricks - he's Normalair Garrett's engineering guy who can explain the complex issues of turbo designs in language so plain that even I can understand them. He's now the supplier for the original Buchka Engineering wasted spark board, which you can order from his site for $67 USD shipped anywhere in the world. I'm also very pleased with Chris' service.

Michael and team did a great job on the S80's climate system, going right through the car and fixing the multiple problems completely. What was greatly appreciated was being kept informed of progress along the way.

Ah. (Wondered if 'fixed version' may have referred to the chips on the board and if they were in IC sockets - the chips on the Dutch board are in sockets).

AFAIK, this is the most recent version of the US board.

Unfortunately I can't find the info on turbobricks.com, but Calvin on this forum had issues, and someone else I know gave up on the car because of the wasted spark board not working and he didn't want to stay with the dizzy. Looking through the threads I can find. The issues were usually wiring to wrong wire, or unaddressed publicly. Either way. Not supplied by them now.

+1 for Jay at fluiddrive in Bendigo. He just replaced my power steering pump, drive belts, idlers and tensioner and transmission flush. He knew his way around these gearboxes in the xc90 very well and was quite knowledgeable about the cars in general.

+1 for Northside Auto Electrics and AC in Gladesville. David is a really nice guy, he fabricated a few hoses same-day for Amy based on some old hoses and samples I brought him, and walked me through the steps to return an AC system of "unknown status" (i.e. may or may not have correct oil type/qty) to working order. He's at 286 Victoria Road, but you have to enter round the back on Gerard Lane. There's a driveway you can park in.
