P.S. when you say abs plastic, it doesn't denote that it is injection moulded. ABS can be 3D printed.

I've just discovered this incredible source of wiring harnesses via Dave Barton's site, the Canadian site didn't cover my B23 engine but this site in the Netherlands (chap called Elbert Bos) is ridiculously comprehensive in terms of brand new wiring looms for 240's and later models and not over the top as far as postage goes. I've just ordered the full ignition loom for my car and will report back on arrival with comments...

Said I'd report back and it's taken a while but.... Everything arrived pretty promptly, very nicely packaged and presented, instructions a little bit scant but if you have retained the old loom or are yet to take it off it's a bit of a no-brainer as you can replace like with like. Only niggle was that the minor harness that goes to the ignition module had the blue and white wires reversed, he speared me a reply very quickly (I'd already worked out the fault) and elaborated on how to swap the terminals without damage, nice chap....

- could not do a proper quote from the pick-up suburb which wasn't on their system - entered neighboring suburb instead, and then increased price of quote by $50 well after the booking was made, pickup address was given, and payment made
- didn't pick up when they said they would
- didn't return phone calls
- sent garbage emails about moving household objects instead of responding to queries
- when they finally emailed the details, they supplied an incorrect tracking number

They'll burn the wrong person one day who will do exactly that. Meanwhile, I'd prefer to do my little bit to make sure people I know also know about these buffoons.

I have a similar sort of attitude to that sort of thing.
There's businesses (and people) who I will never give a cent of my money to (regardless of how badly I may want something they have).
Among the other like-minded businesses I regularly exchange work with, we have a 'shit list' - just a shared spreadsheet and this gets updated from time to time with who we wont work with or give money to - it's quite helpful in our circles.
We also have an 'upfront payment only' list for any of us planning to do labour/service work. It just stops us gettting burned.
