Yeah, I guess the older cars with high KM may have some blockage in the cat. I had that happen on my B21FT 240 Turbo in the US...gutted the cat and it was night and day difference...however it was visibly blocked. I've looked into some of my cars' cats here and there was no apparent blockage so I left well enough alone.
Especially with an auto and m cam the supercharged car was manual.

A teaser for what's coming soon :)

Did you end up using 10mm spacers? Did you drill the holes in the face?
Looks good!

Got a wheel shop to drill them

Running 25mm hub and wheel centric bolt on spacers all round
What are the face holes for if I may ask? Air vents??? *shrug*

Yeah, for some kind of ventilation for the brakes, as ineffective as it might be.
Here's how I spent my Xmas eve; should be finishing up the fronts on Christmas morning :dissapointed:

Tapered rear coils. What rate are they?
Vee_Que;126743 wroteTapered rear coils. What rate are they?
6kg :( they were the softest that BC offered.
Merry Christmas to me, BC Racing coilovers are in, strut brace in. Removed the fender liner for more clearance; camber is maxed for #stance. Took a bit of tuning but it doesn't rub at full lock or during driving (at least at low speeds). Chances are that I'll raise it a cm or two more in the coming weeks, the front rate is 7kg, rear is 6kg.

First impressions: this shit rides way better than my cut springs and blown shocks. It's firm (especially in the rear) but even with the small amount of suspension travel, it still dampens bumps very nicely. Having the 30 clicks of hard-soft adjustment is great, though I found that in the rears, anything less than nearly full hard would result in a lot of bounce. The fronts are a lot more responsive to the adjustments. Bye bye body roll. Hello lip scraping everywhere.

I will do a full write up in a few weeks when I have more time with it.

Also got my DVS strut brace, thanks Ash. Excuse the dirty wheels and ruined fenders.

Also installed new vented slotted rotors. Had to cut the dust shields into much smaller pieces because with the LCA spacers (geometry correction bro) the dust shield wouldn't fit.

Looks like a nice productive christmas! I like it!
Front springs look HUGE though - did you go with 10kg F and 6kg R even after our chat???

Went with 7kg in the front, 6kg R
Still a bit high, but 7 is way, way, way better than 10.
If you have any fillings, they're more likely to stay in your mouth! ;)
I found on Tris car the fronts were not bad. It's definitely the rear that was too stiff. The adjustment in height of the Strut itself is good I thought on the 740 bcs.

I would have to agree, there is very little compliance in the rears and even on tiny bumps my tools in the dickie seat compartment go flying. The fronts are nice
Did you do the torque rod/trailing arm bushings?
jamesinc;126815 wroteDid you do the torque rod/trailing arm bushings?
No, haven't done any bushings apart from what the upgraded parts came with

If you've dropped the car a lot, it might be worth cracking those bushings with the suspension loaded, and then re-torquing them, so that the bushings aren't being twisted with the car at rest.
