Little update

I suspect my steering rack is knackered and needs replacement, she's pissing out of the front right boot

Rear main is as usual - keeping the subframe lubricated

May need a brake booster, still diagnosing a strange loss in braking performance when ABS kicks in

Got a booster here if you need. 98 v70 230k on it if it's worth swapping. Rack may need work on this one too though. Getting close to scrapping this one.

Pump motor or valve body or the solenoids not working correctly?
Are you getting any codes?

With the abs non functioning your brakes feel okay?

I also doubt its the booster if its only having issues under abs assisted braking what are the symptoms?
Brake booster symptoms are usually hissing sound when pedal is depressed or a rock hard pedal not very common on 850/p80

Car runs exactly the same as before but now reads lower voltages for the same actual airflow values, all of which have been adjusted for

CBV blockoff plate is inbound, still need to sort out some issues with getting live data tracing to work all of the time

Fittment is 100%
My measurements in the last post are accurate

Flywheel came!!!!!

Time to pop the pistons out, bores looked really good for the age, all hone marks were still there with only a little shiny bit up top

All out and oil squirters removed for cleaning

Getting the rods on with fresh genuine rings <3
