The Skandix group-buys have been going well, so I thought I'd try another! 🙂

This part is a redesign of the 240's fuse block to accommodate modern automotive fuses and solve the fatigue/poor contact/poor quality fuse issues associated with the original Volvo fuse block (which is a discontinued part now anyway).

From Skandix:

Improved replacement for the no longer available fuse box of the Volvo 240 from 1991.
Vehicles up to 1990 can be converted to this version as well.

With the conventional fuse box of the Volvo 240 there is more often corrosion between the fuses and the contact springs. Electrical faults and failures are the result. The contact springs tire and can break.

The technically more modern fuse box offers significant contact improvement and improved operational reliability. In addition, replacing and testing the fuses is much easier to handle.

@242GT how is the fitment, are there any issues with the cover that goes over the fuse box?

    None at all , took about an hour to fit up , just disconnect battery , put the 2 fuse holders side by side and swap over.

    Buy the smaller blade fuses first based on what amperage resistance fuses you have in the cigar fuse holder already in the car.

      Original cover fits straight back over like it should no problems.

      Make sure you press the fuses in fully to position , you should feel a slight click as they fit home and so they don't fall out.
