You can find them on jauce but make sure measurements are correct when buying.

Are those red seat belt buckle releases the square ones or tapered , I'd like to replace my 850R ones which are the tapered ones

242GT They seem to be a little convex but I can try get a side profile snaps later on and upload them.

FAN WIRING TIDY UP

Some of the conduit failed and the old rubber seals in the connector plug for the fuel relay had failed.

One of the Maxi fuses had failed so I replaced it with a maxi fuse from a local electronics store before replacing it with OEM version.

Mounted fuel pump relay in correct location and held harness in place with correct ties from 850 at local wreckers.

It's a start. Next connection I'll attend to is the coolant temp sensor.

Not to be a damper on your party Morch as i love your work. Just watch out with knock off crimpers some don't crimp properly but if yours do all sweet.

Get your self a decent set of flush cut pliers for all plastic ties, tape ect easier than a Stanley fixed blade. TOLEDO PC6 are good shop around.

Double walled heat shrink is also super handy - its glue filled heatshrink.

Fleece tape is also Good for harness repairs instead of regular PVC insulation tape.

TL_V70 No worries, admittedly I cheeped out on the crimps you see in the picture (nice catch) but surprisingly worked excellent with correct jaws. It came down to price vs usage time for me so hopefully these will tie me over for the few odd jobs I'll be doing. I have other more expensive crimps but not for this particular terminal.

The fixed blade was an accidental purchase but I was just using it to split the conduit. I have access to all the proper tools (in my kit at home: https://au.rs-online.com/web/p/tool-kits/2217837) including the tapes you mentioned but sense it was just insulating tape from factory I just replaced it with some 3M insulating tape.

I must look into the double walled heat shrink, sounds a lot better than the stuff I've got in stock :-)

I have access to some engineer crimps tools too so maybe I should do a comparison 😊

I use a pretty cheap crimper (paid about $50) and get good consistent crimps. I don't have such a large range of dies though. Choice of terminal makes a big difference though. For example, the soft brass (coated?) terminals you get from Jaycar kind of suck and will deform easily, but nice aluminised/galvanised steel terminals crimp perfectly every time.

rado Yeah, It's a nice touch and completes the car. I'm still hunting and gathering every day. A little obsessive but will come to an end soon enough (mainly due to me having gathered everything haha)

TUNED ECU:

I managed to get my hands on a tuned ECU from VP tuning who had a quick look over the vac hoses and related equipment to ensure it was ok to install. It's totally changed the car - basically a Stage 2 MTE tune but I'd like to get my hands on some graphs or figures for this particular tune because it boogies now :-)

Pulls much harder, boost is higher and sounds even better under load.

850 MATS & SPARE WHEEL LINER:

Jumping around jobs a little here but hoping to touch on some mechanical jobs within the next week.
Since i had the products and sprays i gave the mats and recently sourced liner some attention. I also sourced a kit to turn my Karcher pressure washer into a lance free setup.

ELECTRIC TERMINAL INSULATORS:

I've been slowly working through some electrical connections on my T-5R, 3D printing a mould & making my own new weatherproof seals. Trialing loctite as it's oil and heat resistant but need to make the walls thicker.

How does everyone else get around this?
