REAR WINDOW DECALS - JDM SPEC

I purchased the "Volvo, a car you can believe in" decal from Auslander without double checking the dimensions but it was far bigger than the factory sticker installed for the Japanese market so i sourced another decal of correct size.
Spot the difference:

I have the SIPS decal for the rear window but won't install this until i remove the tint after summer. The decal is fitted inside the window,

Regards to the earth grouding kit it's probably not for audio use. The Japanese are big into adding earthing kits on lots of their cars as a sort of performance thing they have been big into it for years. I doubt it does anything but from my auto electrical view you can never have to many good earths.

Totally agree with the earthing comment. I'll need to add some back into the system again with more of an OEM look.
Although I know the car had a double DIN setup when it arrived in Aus and the earthing kit wires has 'Audio' written on the wires.

I am definitely envious of you Cream Yellow T5-R wagon. As a Teenager my neighbour pursched a brand new Cream yellow T5-R sedan and I always enjoyed seeing it.

What is that head unit when you got it ? Looks like an old 90s dvd flip screen kinda thing .

rado the previous owner removed it and I never received it with the sale.

It's now got the 850R radio with remote and I have an original tape deck only radio on the way. Also with Volvo remote 😊

BASIC REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING INSTALL

Basic factory central locking kit added to my car, however I'm still searching for a Volvo Guard 2 Alarm kit with horn and optional sensors.

Transmitter fobs needed programming to the receiver box but the LED on the dash doesn't flash even when i push the lock button twice (deadlock mode)

Receiver Box with same FCC codes are the fobs. This is necessary for successful programming. Unfortunately one of the remotes doesn't work but i have a replacement in the mail.
Receiver box is installed to the left of the glovebox and connector is just chilling there impatiently waiting for a module haha

From my reading it turns out some markets didn't have remote central locking installed due to frequency issues.

You can find them on jauce but make sure measurements are correct when buying.

Are those red seat belt buckle releases the square ones or tapered , I'd like to replace my 850R ones which are the tapered ones

242GT They seem to be a little convex but I can try get a side profile snaps later on and upload them.

FAN WIRING TIDY UP

Some of the conduit failed and the old rubber seals in the connector plug for the fuel relay had failed.

One of the Maxi fuses had failed so I replaced it with a maxi fuse from a local electronics store before replacing it with OEM version.

Mounted fuel pump relay in correct location and held harness in place with correct ties from 850 at local wreckers.

It's a start. Next connection I'll attend to is the coolant temp sensor.
