Thanks for putting in the hard yards on this James, just wondered about the PU engine mounts for 240's the standard ones wear out fairly quickly I've found (but are cheaper obviously), are the PU ones long-lived? The last time I did mine they both let go at around the same time which made it a real pain to get both lined up and bolted on whilst working outside on a gravel drive…

@Porkchop that pump would probably work, just plug the number into the googles and verify that it's a 5 bar pump and not insanely high LPH (for an NA 240 you only need something roughly in the 100-150 range).

It is possible to go too big with fuel pumps, it leads to the pump operating at its max rated pressure constantly, which means the pump circuit pulls high current and it just wears stuff out quick.

jamesinc It took me a while regarding fuel pump specs but here they are for https://www.prestigeautoparts.com.au/\~31570

    Bosch Fuel Pump EFI 480HP 148 Litres @ 5 Bar, Inlet: 12mm (3/8in. ), Outlet: M12 X 1.5

Sorry text size didn't reduce when pasted, I've heard what a pain the in-tank pump can be to replace, is the external a doddle and what do I need to be aware of, thanks!

Hello, sorry this stalled, I was on hols, if everyone is still keen I'll put the order in this weekend, the online shop issues have been fixed.

Sounds good, I'm going to be away as of 7:00 AM Friday (tomorrow) if you can let me know what the rough total for me is I can drop it in your a/c tonight or tomorrow (I think it will come out around the $250 mark without taking into account the local freight to Tas which I can add on when it is determined…) cheers, and thanks

    Okay another update.

@1971_144GL it doesn't seem like you can get the oil pump spring and ball kit

@Maximus it doesn't seem like you can get the 27mm swaybar bushings

I've also removed an item I no longer need. The order total currently stands at about $810 AUD so there is up to $150 of space left if anyone wants to add something. I prefer to leave ~$50 margin below the $1k cutoff as customs calculate the AUD total slightly differently from us. If you do want to add an item make sure to send me a link from classicswede.org rather than the old website. Otherwise I will pull the trigger tonight.

I've updated the shopping list at the top of this page.

jamesinc I'll have to pull out I do apologise iv had some bad news this morning where I need major surgery on my bowel

Hi James, not sure if any of these will work in your final order configuration?

@1971_144GL I can add the carb diaphragm and the carb fuel pump but not the brake servo kit

@KBee I can't find any of those parts. Please send me links to the products, not screenshots, the site has no search function.

        • KBee replied to this.

jamesinc thanks for trying James, I can’t find them now either. I will try and source elsewhere.

Okay thank you. Whatever works for the order.

Okay sorry this has dragged on, I've got the cart ready to go, I've plugged it all into my group buy calculator, these numbers are approximate but the grand total will be very close to them:

          group buy totals

Will place order in a few hours
