Last week, while I was rotating my tires, I noticed that the inside of the front left wheel was gunked up with grease. Upon closer inspection, it appears that the outer most CV joint's boot has either split and is throwing grease or it has come away from the shaft and is leaking. Taking it to Stevenson's in Nerang tomorrow to have them put it up and have a better look at it.
But what I also noticed is the toothed ring that I am aware of on the right shaft (which I believe has something to do with either the ABS sensor or the speed sensor) seems to be missing on the left shaft. Is this normal? I there only supposed to be one toothed ring?
