The second is on back order or 5-8 weeks ond only available it beige so will require painting to match the oem 6 disc changer in the boot

Anything ut of the holey grail options book for your model can be ordered through Mark and his tame dealer parts guys for excellent prices and then has a 2yr Volvo Australia warranty as well which is priceless.

There’s lots of mid 2000s models that have no stock too but you may be surprised as most cars aren’t optioned, they cost too much as it is!
I got snow mats for XC90 and only in a shade of tan but only $190 to me sent via the dealer and Mark , we drool over the books at BMG……

I'm liking this thread, I'm hoping to be a T-5R owner very soon and also go down this expensive rabbit hole to find Rare OEM parts. Are you collecting or actually installing them on your 850? Keep me updated :-)

Bit of both , installing and keeping. I've just managed ( last week ) to acquire the remote control for the 850 head unit after many years of looking for one . Will show n tell when it arrives..
Wow. So the original head unit is setup to accept the remote? Infrared I assume?

Yep I found this out a couple of years ago , so I went back to the oem HU with in mind I WILL find a remote for it . In the end it was on ebay UK quite a few things are on there from time to time but not offering international postage so always worth contacting the seller and ask for postage. Most of the time it works , occasionally they won't..

Just purchased a positive battery terminal cover which seems to be NLA, should tidy up the look of the battery since i cleaned out that side of the engine bay last week.
Edit: just realised this is a wanted post and not just a post for listing rare/NLA 850 parts!!
