Quite possibly mate, there is also nothing really 'wrong' with the oem one.
As we've discussed before, with some of the common chinese made aluminium radiators and intercoolers, its hard to know what you're buying (quality wise) until its in your hands if you don't know who is making it, materials being used, quality of work, etc.
I'm not trying to do things cheaply though, my point is that you can buy decent hardware and have a good vehicle at the end of it without spending a fortune.
The do88 intercoolers appear to be very good. Tanks on their latest ones are really kool.
I deal with PWR a bit for other things and have a lot of experience with their work for race cars, so I'd be happy going that way too.

Sounds about right. I put a genuine one in my 850T5 back in 2005 or so and it was considerably more than that. More recently, they're much cheaper.
