Ahh I see , the old number plates! Can you still transfer them? I always wonder about the black and white ones that were on my Primary school teachers old car , one with arms that came out for indicating , it had GOA *** Always though it good somehow and wondered if we can reuse those old letter number combos in the black n white.

Remind me Ash, was there any bush in the delta link apart from the ones with the eyelet near the wheel that is worth replacing?

In my case, I bought my plates back in 2004. They were returned/cancelled general issue plates and I think were ordered as a 'custom' plate with 3 letters and 3 numbers, in standard colour.
I transferred them off my 850 when I sold it and they lived in the drawer for 5 years. When I had to buy my own DD again, I transferred them onto it.

There are the inner ones too. Mine looked fine and we didnt have any in stock so they didnt get replaced.

So much to do when I get my R here. Considering an S70 for missus. Are the NA driveshafts different from the T5 ones? Did they just keep it all uniform . Anyone here do refurbed changeover ones?

There are different part numbers for NA vs Turbo
Not sure if there is much of a material difference

NA shafts are thinner than Turbo ones. They are the same in all other ways, spline, length etc.

They are interchangeable.

Car came back today which is great. Looks really good.
In typical fashion of working on any sort of 90s volvo product a few plastic trim bits, clips, etc didnt survive the ordeal, but no big issue.

I have a couple of new issues though that I need to work out -
* central looking no longer works
* LR door wont open from the outside
* LR seatbelt appears jammed.

They're niggles I'll work through though, so no big deal. The only one that is a little worrying is the seat belt, but I'll work it out.

Definitely.
Rear already has H&R (-30mm springs) and Bilstein B6 in it, but there isnt much rear interior in it at the moment, so hopefully it'll no longer reach for the sky once its properly back together.
Fronts are waiting on my Ohlins to come back to be assembled and fitted.

Rims are just waiting for tyres.

Needs fat roof rails rather than skinny's. Only problem with the fats is that they taper down at the front, and therefore my kayaks hit the roof on my V70, and the canoe's recurved hull hung down in front of the windscreen too much

Hopefully Rob might be keen too offload the fat roof rails from his V70XC.

Ash , no help but my rhr seatbelt locks after I put the seat down and some very slight moving gets it to unlock , must be common.....

The issue with mine is that the little plastic button that prevents the belt from retracting too far, has been yanked/pulled past its stop and is now inside the belt mechanism.
Pretty annoying actually.

I'll have a look at it some more when I get a chance.

I fitted one of the headlight eyebrows tonight too just to see if I like them.
