I decided the other day that I'm going to have heated seats in the V70.
When I had the console out of it a little while back, I noticed that the wiring loom and plugs were present for them (figured Volvo thought it would be cheaper to run with as few loom and wiring variations as possible to make their life easier).
Last weekend, when I was fitting them front seats I remembered that V70R models have heated seats.
So a quick bit of googling tells me that all I need to have working heated seats is the switches themselves and the cointray surround with cut outs for the switches.
New Volvo cointray thingy is less than $20. Switches werent too badly priced new either.
Fingers crossed that there is nothing wrong with the elements in the seats.
If not, I'll have working heated seats in it shortly after it returns from having the bodywork done.
Switches live in front of the shifter in the cointray surround.
