What's the Elite 1500 have that the 950 doesn't have?

I'm tempted to run something like this on the B230 16V +t.....

      the main reason i went with the 1500 is it has knock control where the 950 doesnt i want to run fairly high boost and have room to grow so it was a better fit for me .

        In regards to labelling, in the pic the white section on the wires is the label for its functions.

        Haltech has a 9.7/10 online assistance and brilliant phone assistance based in Sydney.

        Elite 950 was made for LS (will still work on a 4cyl)

        950:

        • 8 x injector outs

        • 4 x ignition outs

        • 2 x Engine Position Inputs (will work with CAS for full sequential) 

        • 2 x Digital Pulsed Inputs (Digital inputs supported only)

        • 5 x Digital Pulsed Outputs

        • 2 x Analogue Voltage Inputs

        • 1 x Throttle Position Input 

        • 1 x Coolant Temperature Input 

        • 1 x Air Temperature Input

        • 1 x Can port (you gain 1 more by using the wideband secondary can)

        1500:

        4 x injector outs4 x ignition outputs12 x digital outputs10 x analogue voltage inputs4 x synchronised pulsed inputs3 x dedicated inputs (knock, ignition switch & onboard MAP Sensor)2 x dedicated engine position inputs 2x can ports (second one isnt necessary unless hooking up something that is obd2 compliant)

        The 950 loom can be modified fairly easily (or buy a new one from haltech)

        The widebands new from Haltech are 470

        The gauge is nearly 800 now IIRC

        Pretty good deal if you can sacrifice not having a knock sensor.

        Id recommend downloading the NSP software, and configuring your sensors and setup with both the 950 and 1500, then print out your input/output sheet and see what you have leftover, or what else you require @Major Ledfoot

          1500 would be perfect unless you need mass i/o for engine sensors, speed sensors etc. As I said above have a play with the i/o function in the software and see if you are going to run out of pins

          The wideband and gauge are separate items .

          The wideband kit consists of the sensor and wb1 wideband controller to talk to the haltech ecu

          The gauge is a can gauge , it can be programmed to show anything the ecu sees , think of it like a mini ic7 dash

          Wideband only works with with the WB1 box to talk to the ecu (the wideband itself is a generic bosch lsu4.9). Doesn't include a gauge. Look at the Aeroflow kits with the lsu4.9 sensor if you want a package like that.
