Damn this car ?
Having a quiet beer waiting for the mrs to come home from the local shops and the clutch pedal broke . No toe rope so off to next door to borrow one . Xc is a good horse . Had a S3 years ago and same thing happened twice . Spot welds , they've broken in the same place on every one . Design fault, so I'm going to change this one but get it welded up before installing it ..
Can it be drilled and bolted at all or to hard to get to

A quick google last night and a phone call this morning and I'm sorted with a new pedal and plastics

Now if I get this gap welded up it'll be so much stronger and won't brake
So I got my old stick welder out and done it myself, sorry no pretty pictures , then all fitted back in . It does look like it has been changed before and they'd left the import white clip out , naughty ! Now with extra welding it should last the car now , yey .
