Retrospective view - HID are OK but life cycle cost is high and not worth it, LED are great in new vehicles. Maintain a halogen setup and it is as as good and always cheaper than HID / LED retrofit.
If you want more then add AUX lights - whatever tickles your fancy.
The P80 have shit headlights full sto.I never got anything useful putting in many globes.
My retrofit of Toyota twin HID projector insides out of ES300 would have been exceptional for beam spread and penetrattion.
I just cannot understand thatp the world's safest car had innefective headlights.
I guess in Scandi countries they are the biggest market for the massive driving lights you see on their cars ....The Aussie brand making halogen driving lights with better light quality than any others on the market has a Scandinavian website too! They use 12-24V unit and run a special halogen globe for eye pleasing Kelvin output range.
