Blue is the plan, but i'd like to replace the front one.
Someone has been unkind to it at some stage and its a mess.

Also this weekend saw a bit of work.
Ripped apart the interior to install new seats !
Had a chance to get in there and clean out some 15 years of crud.
Found lots of broken glass.
A Snickers wrapper with a '00 expiry.
A McDonalds happy meal toy (to be dated)
A Huntsman corpse.
And a $2 coin ! score.

Not bad looking seats , so you found the wiring switcharoo you needed to do on the back of the 850 socket to match the later seat? Funny how they bothered to swap em round for no good reason.

^not really.
the older 850's use a totally different style or wiring and I couldnt get the pins out of the socket.
I pulled the pins at the seat connector end, so the pre-wiring for the seat belt sensor and heated seats is still there.

To get pins out you push small , screwdriver down from wire side and release the clip,its just a swap of two wires if I remember correctly , the plug was the same on my later 850R.

the plugs on the older 850's look very different, there is a release mechanism but they didnt want to come loose. I also couldnt identify the correct connector for the power.
but its all done now and they are working...
