      No!

I bled the brakes today - not quite right, but good enough to move the car.

Also attached the rear bumper - seems that I may have been lucky that it was still on the car when I got home.

And the clutch is completely rooted. Like “makes a faint clunking noise and the car doesn’t move at all” rooted.

      sigh*

      Took log book photos anyhow.

Currently thinking that I will ignore the car until I am ready to fit the 2-litre and the Quaife box (assuming that I can track it down).

Also getting fucked around on the sale of the now-dead Yaris.

This is soooo funny. My grandparents had one of these for years and my cousin and I joked about putting a hyabusa engine in it. Makes me chuckle every time I get notifications...

Picked up the last of the parts today.

...including the spare wheels that had been dumped behind the shed.

Went full Indiana Jones in the jungle of vines, although a pair of ratcheting secateurs doesn’t have the same visual impact as a machete.

Anyhow, when I got to the bottom of one pile of wheels, I discovered that there was another one buried in the dirt...

When I lifted it out, there was another one, literally entirely below ground level!

Took about ten minutes to dig it out.

Did you keep digging to see if there wasn't yet another one?

I found a set of four, was happy to call it quits.

Three full sets of 15” 4x100 wheels, one Compomotive, and another pair - should be enough.

The pair are going to Paulie for his MX5 rally car, the Compomotive will be sold, and then I have four sets of 15s for two cars.

Got $400 for the Yaris. Pretty good considering it is a repairable write off (due to front damage) AND has hail damage and has a dead motor. I paid $350 for it back in March or April.

$400 is pretty good, I was drunk surfing the interwebs last night and there is a kit to fit one of the FWD toyota camry V6 into the yaris..... makes me sorta want to own a yaris

GR yaris makes me want a yaris

El Wifeo was red hot on the GR, but a combination of practicality, growing offspring and wanting to reduce the carbon footprint is pushing her toward something far less fun.

Yeah, it's sitting next door tempting me but it's just not at all practical and I'm already on the EV train
